Two Bundesliga sides join Premier League clubs in race to sign Willem Geubbels | OneFootball

More clubs have now joined the race to sign St. Gallen striker Willem Geubbels (23), according to a report from L’Équipe.

As previously reported by Foot Mercato, there is already significant interest from the Premier League in Geubbels, who finished the season as the third-highest scorer in the Swiss Super League with 14 league goals.

Southampton, Sheffield United, Leeds United and Wolverhampton Wanderers have all registered interest ahead of the summer window. In Germany, Union Berlin and FC Köln are among the clubs monitoring the centre-forward, Foot Mercato added.

The list of suitors has now extended further. As per L’Équipe, recently promoted Hamburg and Borussia Mönchengladbach have now also joined the race to sign the former AS Monaco forward. A return to France is also a possibility for the striker, even if he has not made it a priority. He still has two years remaining on his deal, but his entourage has suggested that he is ready for a new challenge this summer.
