Two members of the first-team setup at La Liga giants Barcelona have been registered for only the first half of the campaign.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards summer signings Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor as the pair in question.
Both midfielder Olmo and frontman Víctor, of course, put pen to paper on terms with Barcelona over the last couple of months, the former arriving from RB Leipzig, and the latter from Girona.
Olmo, in particular, has since gone on to make an instant impact, finding the net in each of his La Liga appearances to date.
In turn, it may come as something of a concern for those of a Blaugrana persuasion to hear that, as things stand, the club’s two summer reinforcements are only actually registered through the end of the calendar year.
As per the aforementioned MD, owing to financial constraints, the Camp Nou brass were only able to register Olmo and Víctor with La Liga until December 31st.
This means that further ‘fair play’ efforts will be required to ensure that both can play their part in the 2nd half of the Spanish top-flight campaign.
It is added, though, that Barcelona’s supporters need not fret, as ‘there is full conviction in the top management of the entity that they will reach the month of January with the capacity to re-register both Olmo and Víctor’.
