We’re set to compete in our first-ever Adobe Women’s FA Cup Final on Sunday (kick-off 2.30pm UK) as we take on Manchester United at Wembley Stadium.

Although this will be United’s second consecutive appearance in the final, losing 1-0 to Chelsea at the national stadium last season, both sides will be eyeing to lift the trophy for the first time and become the 18th different winner of the competition.

What is the team news?

Amy James-Turner, who missed our trip to Everton last weekend due to a small issue, is back in contention for the FA Cup Final at Wembley after the experienced defender returned to training this week.

Robert Vilahamn also confirmed that there were no fresh injury concerns, stating that everyone trained in the week.

However, midfielder Grace Clinton will be ineligible to feature against her parent club.

Marc Skinner was able to call upon defender Jayde Riviere last Sunday in their 1-0 defeat to Liverpool, where she featured for the final half-hour at Prenton Park, and is expected to be available once again this weekend.

Skinner also confirmed in his pre-match press conference on Friday morning that everyone is available, barring the longer-terms injuries of Gabby George, Emma Watson and Jess Simpson.

Who is the referee?

Abi Byrne will referee the game at Wembley Stadium, assisted by Sophie Dennington and Nicoleta Bria.

The fourth official will be Kirsty Dowle.

David Coote and assistant Natalie Aspinall will be on VAR duties, which will be in use for a second consecutive year in the Women’s FA Cup Final, alongside Goal Line Technology.

What colours will the teams be playing in?

We’ll be wearing our home kit, featuring Lilywhite shirts, navy blue shorts and white socks, with our goalkeeper in yellow.

United will wear red shirts, black shorts and black socks, with their keeper in green.

What will the weather conditions be like?

The sun has been shining throughout the week and it’s set to continue into this weekend, notably, Sunday with temperatures reaching 24 degrees ahead of the 2.30pm kick-off.
