Simon Ngapandouetnbu is set to terminate his contract with Olympique de Marseille to sign with Montpellier. The Cameroonian goalkeeper will thus play in Ligue 2 next season.

The Marseille club loaned him to Nîmes in the National division last season, where he played 26 matches (11 clean sheets, 29 goals conceded).
Montpellier will sign the 22-year-old shot-stopper after the failed pursuit of Monaco's goalkeeper, Yann Liénard. Bottom of Ligue 1 in the 2024-2025 season, La Paillade are eager to quickly return to the top flight.
Unable to live up to his reputation as a top prospect, Simon Ngapandouetnbu will now try to reignite his young career and prove himself through this ambitious new project.
