Serie A clubs are monitoring Rasmus Hojlund situation’s at Manchester United ahead of the summer transfer window.

Hojlund has endured a disappointing second season at Old Trafford, with the Denmark international having struggled for form. The 22-year-old has scored just three goals in the Premier League and only eight in 41 appearances across all competitions.

Manchester United are expected to enter the market for a centre-forward in the summer. Ruben Amorim has made the signing of a goalscorer a priority, with Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres, Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Ipswich Town forward Liam Delap among the names linked.

Hojlund’s situation is therefore being closely monitored by clubs in Italy, according to Fabrizio Romano. The Dane impressed during a single-season spell at Atalanta in 2022/23 to earn a £72m move to the Premier League.

Several Serie A sides are willing to offer Hojlund a route back to the division for the right fee, should his first-team place come under threat by new signings at United. Juventus and Napoli have been heavily linked with a summer move.
