The Premier League have finalised their plans for the final day of the ongoing season, with both Manchester City and Arsenal retaining hope of emerging as victors.

Life is a little easier for Manchester City heading into the final day of the Premier League season, with Pep Guardiola’s side knowing that their fate is in their own hands and victory over West Ham would secure their status as league champions once again.

That comes after City recorded an all-important 0-2 win over Tottenham in North London on Tuesday night, with Erling Haaland’s brace being the club’s first two Premier League winning goals scored away to Spurs in over nine years, and the first at the new arena.

As for Arsenal, Mikel Arteta and his players will be holding out for a huge favour from David Moyes and his West Ham squad at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon, whilst also needing to record victory over Everton at the Emirates Stadium at the same time.

With the destiny of the Premier League title remaining unknown heading into the final day of the season, the Premier League have finalised their own logistics for the highly-anticipated end-of-season trophy presentation.

As per the information of MailSport this week, there will be identical Premier League trophies waiting at both Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium and Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, as well as a set of 40 medals at each ground.

Alongside the silverware, the Premier League will also equip both arenas with identical podiums and fireworks in the event that they ‘need to set up quickly’ for a title-winning party for either Manchester City or Arsenal.

MailSport have also confirmed that once the Premier League trophy has been lifted by this season’s Champions, an expert engraver will be on hand to etch the required team’s name onto it, as opposed to prior to the lift itself.

Manchester City will be hoping to become the first club in Premier League history to win the top-flight trophy in fourth consecutive seasons, while victory in the division would become their third piece of silverware of the season.

City have already made history this campaign by winning the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup for the very time in the club’s history, while the campaign could see a four-trophy haul upon it’s conclusion.

The club’s domestic calendar will come to an end at Wembley Stadium, with Manchester City embarking on a repeat of last season’s FA Cup Final, as they take on Manchester United at the national stadium.
