Inter Milan will only sign Genoa defender Koni De Winter in the event that Yann Bisseck leaves this summer.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan are reportedly keen on Genoa defender Koni De Winter.
The Belgian has impressed this season for Il Grifone. He has been one of the outstanding young defenders in Serie A.
And the defense is certainly one area of the pitch where Inter will want to strengthen.
The Nerazzurri are looking to revitalize their backline. They are well aware that they cannot rely on veterans like Francesco Acerbi and Stefan de Vrij forever.

The Gazzetta confirm that Koni De Winter continues to be a target high on Inter Milan’s list.
However, the Genoa defender would only arrive in the event that there is a big sale in defense.
The likeliest candidate to leave would be Yann Bisseck.
The 24-year-old is reportedly a target for Crystal Palace. Inter have rejected a €32 million bid, but could sell him if the Eagles return with an improve offer.
And in that event, the Gazzetta confirm, De Winter would be Inter’s top target. They see the Belgian as an ideal like-for-like replacement for Bisseck.
Meanwhile, the newspaper note, Bournemouth are also keen on Koni De Winter. They are looking for a defensive signing after selling Ilya Yabarnyi to Paris Saint-Germain for €70 million.
For their part, Genoa would want €25 million for De Winter.
