Inter Milan are hoping to get the green light from owners Oaktree Capital to raise their offer for Ademola Lookman.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Il Giornale, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan have already increased their offer for Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman.
The Nerazzurri had initially offered €40 million for the Nigerian. However, La Dea turned this bid down.
Therefore, Inter came in with an improved bid. They put an offer worth €45 million on the table.
However, that still was not enough. Atalanta gave their response to that second offer yesterday, and it was a firm no.

Now, Inter are at something of a crossroads in their pursuit of Lookman.
The rejection from Atalanta yesterday has not caused the Nerazzurri to completely pull out of their attempts to sign the 27-year-old.
However, unless Lookman can force his way out of the Gewiss Arena, then a further raise in the offer will be necessary.
For that, Il Giornale note, Inter will need approval from owners Oaktree Capital.
The North American fund have already authorized significant bids for Lookman. However, they will have to decide whether to green light an even larger offer.
