Real Madrid are currently exploring several options to strengthen their squad, especially if Aurelien Tchouameni leaves the club next season.
In this context, according to recent reports from Real Madrid Confidencial, one name that has emerged as a potential replacement is N’Golo Kante, who currently plays for Al-Ittihad.
It is said that the club is working on a plan to ensure they have a capable replacement if Tchouameni decides to move on, and Kante is a strong candidate due to his vast experience and proven track record at the highest levels of football.
Kante, who has won the Premier League, Champions League, and World Cup, brings not only defensive solidity but also leadership and experience to the team.
Kante’s ability to control the midfield and break up opposition attacks would be a valuable addition for Real Madrid.
Furthermore, Kante’s interest in returning to Europe has only added fuel to speculation about a potential move to the Spanish capital. His arrival could add depth and internal competition, which would be crucial for the team’s success moving forward.

However, securing Kante’s services is not expected to be straightforward. The Frenchman currently plays for Al-Ittihad, and the Saudi Arabian club is unlikely to let one of their star players leave without a significant financial offer.
This could make negotiations more difficult, as the deal would require a considerable outlay.
Recent reports also indicate that Real Madrid’s initial interest in other potential targets, such as Martin Zubimendi, has cooled down.
Instead, the club seems to be focusing on a more immediate solution, and Kante fits this profile perfectly, given his experience and ability to step into a top-level team like Real Madrid without needing time to adjust.
With the January transfer window fast approaching, the next few months will be crucial in determining whether Kante can be brought in.
Carlo Ancelotti has already highlighted the need for squad reinforcement, particularly in midfield, after recent absences. Real Madrid’s sporting management is working hard to secure the right player, and Kante could very well be the answer they need.
