Following the debacle against PSG last night in the FIFA Club World Cup semi-final, Real Madrid are preparing for some notable changes in the squad.
Indeed, despite having completed three signings this summer, more new faces are now expected while there will also be some departures.
One such player widely expected to leave the Santiago Bernabeu this summer is Rodrygo Goes.
Now, according to Fabrizio Romano, Rodrygo will hold a direct meeting with Real Madrid officials next week to discuss his future.
Los Blancos, for their part, are open to the idea of letting the Brazilian international leave and will leave the final decision up to the player himself.

There is no shortage of suitors for Rodrygo if he decides to leave the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.
Arsenal, for one, have presented themselves as the strongest suitor for the 24-year-old attacker while there is also interest from the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City.
Rodrygo has been attracting interest from Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia. However, the update from Romano states that the Brazilian has no intentions of joining the Middle Eastern outfit.
The report insists that there have been no contacts or talks about a possible move to Al-Nassr, with that never being an option for the player.
Rodrygo, in case of a departure, will prioritise a transfer to a club within Europe. So, it remains to be seen where he ends up, but everything points at the former Santos wonderkid leaving Real Madrid.
