After falling short in both the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals and the Copa del Rey final, major changes could be coming to Real Madrid. A recent report also links the Spanish club to a Paris Saint-Germain player.
The 2024-25 season exposed the need to reshape Madrid’s attack, and Rodrygo may be the one to make way. With Vinícius Júnior and Kylian Mbappé unlikely to leave the Spanish capital, the Brazilian winger’s future remains uncertain.
If Rodrygo does move on, Madrid appear ready to spend big on a replacement. A recent report from Fichajes claims club officials see Rennes midfielder Desire Doué as the ideal fit and are willing to pay up to €100 million to sign him.

Foot Mercato reported on Monday, citing sources, that Real Madrid’s interest will not change the future of the newly capped French international (one appearance), as no offer will be enough to sway the capital club.
The report claims that PSG remain determined to continue the adventure with their young talent. In short, Doué isn’t going anywhere—much to the delight of the Parc des Princes faithful.
However, if Real Madrid view Doué as a future target, their interest will persist, as the club is willing to wait to secure the signing of a player they desire.
