According to a recent report from Fichajes, Real Madrid are facing stiff competition to sign Inter Milan forward Marcus Thuram, with both Barcelona and Liverpool also keen to land the 27-year-old striker.
The outlet suggests that the race for Thuram, with a contract until 2028, has become a three-way battle between some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
The French international’s talent and versatility have made him a highly sought-after player, but his €85 million release clause stands as a significant challenge for any club looking to secure his services.
Liverpool are in search of reinforcements to strengthen their attack, and Thuram is seen as an ideal fit. His pace and goal-scoring ability align well with the attacking style that manager Arne Slot is looking to build.
However, their pursuit will not be straightforward, as both Barcelona and Real Madrid are also very interested.

For Barcelona, Thuram represents a perfect addition to their squad, particularly as they look to balance experience with youth in their attacking ranks.
With rising stars like Lamine Yamal, Thuram could provide the depth and tactical flexibility Barcelona need. His arrival would also offer a valuable complement to the experienced Robert Lewandowski.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid are actively searching for a long-term replacement for the departed Karim Benzema. Thuram’s ability to link up play and operate in multiple attacking roles makes him a versatile option for coach Carlo Ancelotti.
He could become a key player alongside Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr., and Rodrygo, although Rodrygo’s future remains uncertain with potential interest from other clubs next summer.
The forward’s tactical flexibility would be a valuable asset for Los Blancos as they aim to build a new era of attacking strength.
With three top-tier clubs vying for his signature, Marcus Thuram’s future is set to be one of the most talked-about stories in the transfer market.
His move could have major implications for the plans of all three clubs as they look to bolster their squads for the upcoming seasons.
