Maghnes Akliouche could be on the move this summer, with both PSG and Manchester City showing strong interest in the AS Monaco midfielder. At 23, he’s been one of Ligue 1’s standout players, and a new challenge might be just around the corner.
Manchester United have also entered the race, according to L’Équipe, setting up a possible Premier League showdown for his signature.
Monaco reportedly want between €70 million and €80 million, but that hasn’t deterred any of the interested clubs, making a transfer this summer increasingly likely.

On Thursday, Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reported that Akliouche is still Bayer Leverkusen’s dream target. The club has held initial talks, but a deal would be costly.
Akliouche is drawing serious interest from top clubs, and AS Monaco seem willing to let him go if the right offer comes in. A previous report from CaughtOffside placed his value between £50.2 million and £58.6 million—figures Monaco would reportedly consider.
The club is said to prefer a move to the Premier League rather than selling to PSG, with growing internal concerns about the Parisian’s pursuit. Akliouche has had a standout season, contributing to 15 goals while mostly playing off the right wing—a role that’s sparked talk of him potentially succeeding Mohamed Salah in the long run.
Back in May, 90min France reported that both Manchester City and PSG had ramped up their interest, increasing the chances of a summer exit. Monaco are now believed to be asking for around €70 million.
Pep Guardiola is reportedly a big admirer of Akliouche’s left-footed creativity and versatility—traits that could make him an ideal long-term replacement for Bernardo Silva.
