PSG Face Major Challenge After Manchester City’s €15M Decision | OneFootball

Gianluigi Donnarumma’s future at PSG is starting to take shape following the arrival of Lucas Chevalier. The 26-year-old goalkeeper is reportedly seeking a long-term move, with Manchester City emerging as the frontrunner.

According to a recent report from L’Équipe, Donnarumma has already reached an agreement with Manchester City and even held direct talks with Pep Guardiola. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano added that Galatasaray’s interest in Ederson could clear the way for Donnarumma to join the Etihad.

Chelsea and Manchester United have also made early inquiries, according to a previous report from RMC Sport, but those discussions are still in the preliminary stages. Manchester City, however, remain the clear favorites as the summer transfer window draws to a close.

Manchester City are playing hardball with PSG

L’Equipe’s Loïc Tanzi reports that PSG and Manchester City have made little progress in negotiations over Donnarumma. Manchester City have submitted a single offer of €15 million, well below PSG’s asking price of €25–30 million.

The English club are willing to wait until January, when the fee could be lower, or until next summer, when Donnarumma will become a free agent.

RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins reported that PSG are ready to accept around €30 million for Donnarumma as they push for his exit.

The goalkeeper wants Manchester City, and an agreement in principle already exists. Manchester City continue talks with Galatasaray and hope to finalize Ederson’s transfer, a condition required to complete Donnarumma’s deal.
