Premier League football returns to Elland Road on Monday evening, when Leeds United take on Everton in the first game of the 2025/26 campaign for either side.

Kick-off in West Yorkshire is scheduled for 8pm and the match is a total sell-out. For those without a ticket, you can watch live on Sky Sports or listen live on LUTV.

Ahead of kick-off, both teams will come together to pay our respects to Diogo Jota and Andre Silva.

The two teams come into the game on the back of a hard-working pre-season within each camp and will now be looking for a strong start, with some fresh faces in the squads.

In pre-season, the Toffees played seven matches and had indifferent results, both within the UK and as part of the Premier League Summer Series within the USA.

The Whites went unbeaten over the summer in their matches, with three draws coming against Manchester United, Villarreal and AC Milan. In the middle of those games a productive week in Germany saw wins over Paderborn and SC Verl.

Daniel Farke’s side have made eight summer additions upon their return to the top-flight and that is matched by David Moyes, who has also seen eight fresh faces announced for his squad.

In the nine games already played so far this weekend, there has been 23 goals scored. Three out of the nine games finished level, four went the way of the home side, and two saw the away team pick up the three points.

This fixture was played out on the opening day of the 2021/22 Premier League season, which saw the match end level in an entertaining 2-2 draw.
