Brentford vs Brighton & Hove Albion

The weekend kicks off with tenth-placed Brighton & Hove Albion travelling to Brentford.

Both these sides harboured hopes of European qualification not too long ago, but recent inconsistent results have set them back.

Brentford are winless in eight league games at the Gtech Community Stadium, while Brighton are without a victory in four matches.

The reverse fixture at the Amex Stadium in December ended 0-0, and this one looks like being another stalemate.

Brentford 1-1 Brighton & Hove Albion.

Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth

Crystal Palace’s unbeaten run of six games in all competitions ended last weekend with a 5-2 defeat at Manchester City.

The Eagles suffered a 5-0 thrashing at Newcastle United in midweek, slipping to 12th in the table.

Bournemouth ended a run of six winless league games with a 1-0 victory over Fulham last time out.

The reverse fixture at the Vitality Stadium ended goalless, but the Cherries could have enough at Selhurst Park against a confidence-shot Palace side.

Crystal Palace 0-1 Bournemouth.

Everton vs Manchester City

Manchester City’s quest for Champions League qualification takes them to Goodison Park this weekend, where they will take on a confident Everton side.

The Toffees produced one of their best performances of the season to beat third-placed Nottingham Forest 1-0 last weekend.

However, they haven’t beaten City in the league since 2017, a run of 15 games.

Pep Guardiola’s side currently occupy the last Champions League spot in the table, and a victory on Merseyside is imperative to stay clear of the chasing pack.

Everton 1-2 Manchester City.

West Ham United vs Southampton

West Ham United host Southampton at the London Stadium on Saturday, in a game where neither team has anything left to play for.

The Hammers have not won since February and have slipped to 17th in the table. However, they are 14 points clear of the relegation zone and will play Premier League football next season.

Southampton’s return to the Championship was confirmed two weeks ago, and they only have pride left to fight for.

West Ham United 3-1 Southampton.

Aston Villa vs Newcastle United

Aston Villa and Newcastle United will face off at Villa Park on Saturday in what could be the game of the weekend.

Villa are on a run of four straight league wins, and are just two points behind Man City.

Newcastle have won their last five matches and moved up to third with their midweek thrashing of Palace.

The Magpies have beaten Villa in their last three league meetings, but the Midlands side can edge this one.

Aston Villa 2-1 Newcastle United.

Fulham vs Chelsea

Fulham host Chelsea at Craven Cottage on Sunday, looking to complete a first-ever Premier League double over them.

The reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge ended 2-1 to Marco Silva’s side, with Rodrigo Muniz scoring a 95th-minute winner to seal a comeback win.

Chelsea fell to sixth following a 2-2 draw with Ipswich Town last weekend, and need to turn their indifferent form around to have any chance of qualifying for the Champions League next season.

Fulham 1-1 Chelsea.

Ipswich Town vs Arsenal

Ipswich Town have shown signs of life in the last three weeks, but will need a miracle to overturn a 14-point deficit and escape relegation.

The Gunners made it to the semi-finals of the Champions League in midweek, but have only won two of their last five games in the Premier League.

Mikel Arteta could make wholesale changes to his side at Portman Road, but Arsenal should still have enough to claim all three points.

Ipswich Town 0-2 Arsenal.

Manchester United vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

Manchester United made it to the last four of the Europa League in dramatic fashion on Thursday, but have only won one of their last five Premier League games.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have banished the threat of relegation with four successive league wins.

Vitor Pereira’s side are only three points behind the Red Devils going into Sunday’s clash at Old Trafford.

United’s midweek travails, coupled with an in-form Wolves outfit, could make this another difficult game for Ruben Amorim’s side.

Manchester United 1-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Leicester City vs Liverpool

Leicester City’s relegation could be sealed on Sunday if they lose to Liverpool, and West Ham and Wolves win their respective games.

The Foxes stopped a run of eight consecutive defeats with a 2-2 draw at Brighton last weekend, but have lost 15 of their last 17 outings.

If Arsenal lose earlier in the day at Ipswich, Arne Slot’s side could be crowned champions with a win at the King Power Stadium.

Leicester City 0-3 Liverpool.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Nottingham Forest

The Premier League weekend ends with Nottingham Forest’s trip to Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night.

Spurs have nothing left to play for, but will be keen to avoid an 18th league defeat.

Forest slipped to fourth after their surprising loss to Everton last weekend and will want to get their Champions League pursuit back on track.

Tottenham Hotspur 1-2 Nottingham Forest.
