Inter Milan lost out on the Serie A title to Napoli on the final day despite beating Como.

However, in Naples, Napoli beat Cagliari by the scoreline. Therefore, that was enough to hold on to their one-point advantage in the Serie A table.
Inter Milan were unable to become the first team to defend the title since the 2019-20 season.
Denzel Dumfries took to Instagram to share his heartfelt message to the fans. He wrote, “Unfortunate end of the league, being so close, but we gave all we got ‘til the end. Congratulations to Napoli on winning the title.”
