PEC Zwolle loan in youthful Ajax duo | OneFootball

Just as they did last season, PEC Zwolle will sign Tristan Gooijer on loan from Ajax. Winger Jan Faberski joins him, despite having a broken hand.

The Eredivisie’s fifth-place side beat both NEC Nijmegen and Heerenveen for the 20-year-old Gooijer’s services. However, the defender rejoins PEC and gets a second chance. His first stint last term was only brief, getting cut short to just one Eredivisie outing, after he suffered a serious knee injury in mid-August 2024.

The 19-year-old Jan Faberski will also be heading to Zwolle. The talented Polish right winger, who recently extended his contract in Amsterdam, doesn’t have any immediate prospects of playing time in the first team and will look to make an impact at the MAC³PARK stadium.

It remains unclear so far whether manager Henry van der Vegt will have the Ajax duo available for Sunday as PEC play FC Utrecht.
