Stanis Idumbo Muzambo is on his way to AS Monaco. Matteo Moretto and Fabrizio Romano have reported on the former Ajax youth player’s move.

Idumbo Muzambo is currently contracted to Sevilla, who signed him from Ajax in early 2024 for around €400,000. However, Moretto reports that Monaco has reached an agreement with all parties involved regarding a transfer for the 20-year-old Belgian.

Romano confirms that Idumbo Muzambo will sign with Monaco and that a flight is scheduled for Thursday afternoon for a medical. Muzambo progressed through the youth academies of Club Brugge, KAA Gent, and Ajax (2021-2023).

The amount the Monegasque club is paying for Idumbo is not yet known. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is around €2.5 million. The attacking midfielder has already played one La Liga match this season, appearing for 45 minutes against Athletic Club (3-2). He was sidelined during Sevilla’s clash with Getafe due to a hip injury.
