Real Madrid will kick off the new year with their rescheduled game from La Liga Matchweek 12 as they take on Valencia away at Mestalla on Friday night.

The match, initially scheduled to be played on the first Saturday of November 2024, was postponed on account of the flash floods that devastated the Valencian region.

Ahead of tomorrow’s tricky encounter against Los Che, who have a new manager in charge, Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has announced the squad list for the trip to Valencia.

The big news is that star forward Vinicius Jr. is back in the squad after missing the last game before the Christmas break against Valencia due to suspension.

On the other hand, Real Madrid continue to be without the services of Dani Carvajal and Eder Militao, both out due to ACL injuries.

Meanwhile, David Alaba has resumed training with the group after a year out on the sidelines but has not been called up to the squad, with Ancelotti hinting that his comeback will occur later this month.

Endrick, who suffered a minor knock in training earlier this week, is fit and available while youngster Raul Asencio continues to feature on the squad list even though his minutes have taken a hit in recent games.
