AS Monaco have officially announced the signing of three youth players on training contracts, including David Dunne (16), who arrives from Cork City on a free transfer.

Dunne joins Les Monégasques having made three professional appearances for The Rebels in the League of Ireland. However, the left-winger is not expected to continue his development in the professional set-up in Ligue 1; he will instead be placed into the club’s prestigious youth set-up.

Dunne is joined by Jassim Djelloul (17), who arrives in Monaco from AS Saint-Priest, a partner club of the Ligue 1 side that plays their football in the Lyon region, and also by Axel Decrenisse (16), a goalkeeper who played in the FC Servette youth teams in Switzerland.

Monaco have had an eye on bringing in youth recruits this summer, with it being reported that the club are also looking at other promising youngsters like Ismail Bamba (SM Caen), Anis Soubeir (FC Metz), Nahël Haddani (FC Montferrier), and Safouane Benzahra (NAC Breda).
