Official | Goduine Koyalipou joins Levante from Lens on loan | OneFootball

RC Lens have confirmed the departure of Goduine Koyalipou (25), who will join Levante UD on loan until the end of the season. The La Liga side have an option to purchase the forward for an undisclosed fee. This option reportedly will become permanent if they avoid relegation.

Koyalipou only joined Lens during the winter transfer window when he arrived from CSKA Moscow on a €2m fee. He scored four times in 15 appearances for the club, but wider questions began to emerge over his ability to contribute to the team.

Lens are looking to revitalise an attack that was lacklustre for large stretches of last season and finished the campaign with the worst goal-scoring record in the top half of the table. Alongside letting Koyalipou leave, the club did not retain M’Bala Nzola (28), who had a disappointing loan spell from Fiorentina, scoring only six times (which was enough to become the club’s top scorer).
