Man Utd and Man City keeping tabs on Lazio’s Christos Mandas | OneFootball

Premier League giants Manchester City and Manchester United are keeping tabs on the situation of Lazio goalkeeper Christos Mandas.

The 22-year-old Greek goalkeeper has made several first-team appearances for the Roman side this season, playing seven times in the Serie A and three times in the Coppa Italia and he has taken advantage of Ivan Provedel’s absence due to injury.

Corriere dello Sport (via TMW) state that the player’s entourage will visit Rome at some point soon to talk about the goalkeeper’s future and whether he could sign a new deal at the Biancocelesti or not. But the situation may not be easy for Lazio, as clubs are interested in Mandas.

Manchester City are one club keeping tabs on him and recently made contact for him to express their liking for the Greek stopper. Manchester United are keeping an eye on the situation too and they aren’t too impressed by Altay Bayindir, who is the current second-choice goalkeeper. Mandas could be seen as a back-up goalkeeper to Andre Onana.
