Jamie Vardy announced recently that he will be leaving Leicester City at the end of the season, with his last match for the club expected to come against Ipswich on 18th May.
But there is still time for the Foxes legend to squeeze in a few more goals before he heads off into the sunset, and that was exactly what he did against fellow relegated side Southampton on Saturday.
Vardy's emphatic strike to break the deadlock in the 17th minute was his 199th in a Leicester shirt, and meant he drew level with former Manchester United and Arsenal great Robin van Persie in the Premier League goals stakes.
And there was also some classic Vardy banter, when referee David Webb went down injured, the striker made sure the game was stopped by blowing the whistle himself.
After the referee went down with an injury, Jamie Vardy made sure that play was stopped. 😅 #LEISOU–
Vardy will surely sign off with 200 goals for Leicester, won't he?
