Manchester United are desperate to move Jadon Sancho on this summer, and a brand-new escape route could be about to present itself as per reports in Germany.
It is well-known that Juventus are frontrunners in the race for the Englishman, with the Red Devils open to a deal for as little as €25 million.
The Turin-based outfit have other options on their radar, and are trying to get INEOS to lower their asking price even further knowing Ruben Amorim does not have the 25-year-old in his plans for the upcoming season.
The 20-time English league champions were contemplating doing the same in desperation, knowing that they need to get player sales going in order to help the head coach with further signings.
But as relayed by TZ, they might no longer need to do so as Bayern Munich have entered the race for the England international.
It was previously relayed by The Peoples Person that the Bavarians were in need of a left winger, which is why they were looking at Marcus Rashford to fill that gap.
But the Mancunian has his eyes set on a move to Barcelona, which is why the Bundesliga champions have been forced to look elsewhere.
And their search has taken them to United once again, this time Jadon Sancho seems to be the target of their attention as claimed by Ruhr Nachrichten reporter Jürgen Koers.
The move could be construed as controversial, given the ex-Manchester City academy graduate played for arch-rivals Borussia Dortmund, both on loan and as a permanent fixture of their first team for several years.
“All BVB fans must be strong now: I can very well imagine that FC Bayern will try everything to get Jadon Sancho,” Koers explained.
“He’s comparatively cheap, has to go elsewhere, and knows the league. From Bayern’s perspective, that’s relatively simple.”
“Bayern have to present someone now – and they’ve already tried to get Sancho on several occasions in the past.”
Interestingly, Bayern had tried to sign the United forward when he was at Dortmund, only for the player to leave Germany and join the Old Trafford side.
Maybe a return to Germany could be on the cards again. INEOS won’t mind one bit. They just want a sale and preferably for someone to bid £25 million, the price Chelsea were supposed to pay before they backed out of their obligation.
