Inter Milan midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan will be out for tomorrow’s Serie A clash with Venezia due to injury.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. They report that at the moment, there are no medical tests scheduled for the Armenian.
Inter have already had a few injury problems to deal with in recent weeks.
These have mostly come in defense. However, a major one has emerged in midfield as well.
Inter midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu picked up a thigh problem during the Supercoppa Italiana final against AC Milan.
Fortunately, Calhanoglu will not be out for long. However, Inter will have to do without the Turkish international in tomorrow’s Serie A clash with Venezia.
But it will not just be Calhanoglu who misses tomorrow’s match.
Another of Inter’s starting midfielders will also be on the sidelines – Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Yesterday, the 35-year-old former Arsenal and Manchester United midfielder felt a physical problem during training.
And today, Sky reports, Mkhitaryan has pulled out of the session.
The Armenian will not be able to play any part against Venezia tomorrow.
At the moment, however, Sky report that Inter have not scheduled any tests for Mkhitaryan with the club’s medical staff.
