The Tigers have a couple of valuable assets they could sell this summer if they are keen to boost their budget for the summer transfer window.

Jaden Philogene could be sold for a sizeable eight-figure fee, having impressed during his first season at the MKM Stadium.

The winger was nothing short of exceptional at times during the 2023/24 campaign and it wouldn't be a shock to see him attract plenty of interest in the coming months.

Greaves is another potential star player who could depart the club, with a couple of teams including Burnley thought to be interested in luring the defender away from East Yorkshire.

His contract doesn't run out for another two years and the Tigers have the option to extend his stay by a further 12 months on top of that, but the Clarets may be in a position to fork out a decent amount for the defender after generating Premier League revenue last term.

They may also generate a decent amount from player sales this summer, which could free up the funds needed for them to tie up a deal for the 23-year-old.

West Ham United, another team that are thought to be in the mix for Greaves, are yet to make a final decision on whether to launch an offer for the central defender.

This is according to Give Me Sport, an outlet that have also reported that a move for the 23-year-old is likely to be given the green light by top officials at the London Stadium if the decision is made to try and pounce for him.

However, they may have to fork out a decent sum to bring him to the club, with Hull hoping to keep hold of the player for at least one more year.

Considering his contract situation, the Tigers won't be forced to cash in on the player this summer.

His statistics from the 2023/24 campaign reinforce just how important he has been for the club during his time in the first team.

It could create a sizeable void in the Tigers' defence at the MKM Stadium if he left this summer and that isn't going to enhance their chances of winning promotion in the coming years.

However, if the Tigers want to boost their budget and give Tim Walter a decent amount to spend in the coming months, they may need to look at selling either him or Jaden Philogene.

They can't afford to spend too much if they don't sell one of these players, so it will be interesting to see whether either of them leave the club.

If they don't leave, that could be a boost for the Tigers, with the club still able to sell Greaves for a decent amount next summer if they wanted to.
