Benjamin Pavard is ready to come back into the starting eleven for the Champions League final between PSG and Inter Milan.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan defender Benjamin Pavard has been on the sidelines for the past few weeks.
The 29-year-old suffered an ankle sprain during Inter’s Serie A clash with Roma last month.
Pavard had attempted to make a swift return from that injury. There had even been some hope that he could immediately be back in the starting eleven for the second leg of Inter’s Champions League semifinal tie against Barcelona.
However, the ankle sprain has proven to be a tricky injury for Pavard to recover from.

According to the Corriere, however, there is little doubt that Benjamin Pavard will be ready for the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain.
The 29-year-old former Bayeren Munich defender has not been rushing back to fitness.
It has certainly been a priority to make sure that Pavard doesn’t worsen his injury.
However, the French international is getting closer and closer.
And according to the Corriere, Pavard will not just be available to be in the squad against PSG.
The newspaper anticipate that the 29-year-old will be able to start. Despite that final coming more than a month after his last appearance for Inter.
