The big news comes after Chelsea finally secured their qualification to play Champions League football next season on the final day of the Premier League season on Sunday.
The Blues had to win this game to secure it, and they managed a 1-0 away win against Nottingham Forest to provide scenes of celebrations amongst the Blues players and staff yesterday evening. And in by doing this, Chelsea also set a brand new record in football!
Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca was so pleased with making the Champions League that he took the opportunity to swear at all of his critics across the season by telling them all to F off!!
We haven’t even started this summer’s transfer window yet, which opens next week, and we are already hearing about Chelsea’s plans to sign players for NEXT summer!
The Blues will be busy this summer to begin with as they look to bring in a new striker as priority, as well as other positions and players sales too. But now they are looking to sign a new striker for next summer as well!
