Roma manager Daniele De Rossi spoke ahead of tonight’s kick-off with Fiorentina.

In his pre-match interview with DAZN, De Rossi expressed his admiration for Vincenzo Italiano’s side.

“We had the same days to prepare it as the Fiorentina, so there are no excuses,” said De Rossi. “A game like tonight is prepared based on the qualities of the players, individuals and the group.”

“Fiorentina know each other well, they have worked together for a long time. It’s a team I admire, they have a coach I admire a lot. They can create difficulties for us, as they have done against many important teams like Inter. We focus on their qualities and where we think we can hurt them.”

“The team’s fitness levels? Everyone’s eager to play. These players are built to play so frequently. And then when things are going well everyone wants to play and the aches and pains feel good. Unfortunately I had to leave many of them out.”
