Crystal Palace’s celebrations will be cut short when the Eagles return to Premier League action against Wolves tonight.
Oliver Glasner’s side secured the first major trophy in the club’s history on Saturday, beating Manchester City 1-0 to win the FA Cup at Wembley.
That win has secured European football for the first time, and Selhurst Park will be in full voice on Tuesday night.
Wolves head into the clash after back-to-back losses. Vitor Pereira’s team appear to have eased up after the six-game winning run that secured Premier League safety.
Oliver Glasner is likely to make changes after the efforts of his team at Wembley. Marc Guehi and Adam Wharton are almost certain to miss out after eye and head injuries respectively. Both players missed the club’s post-match celebrations to undergo medical tests.
Jefferson Lerma could come in for Guehi as part of Glasner’s back three, while Will Hughes is the obvious replacement for Wharton in midfield. Elsewhere, Cheick Doucoure and Chadi Riad remain absent for the Eagles. Romain Esse and Eddie Nketiah will hope for rare starts in the forward line.
Crystal Palace predicted XI: Henderson; Richards, Lacroix, Lerma; Munoz, Hughes, Kamada, Chilwell; Esse, Sarr; Nketiah.
Crystal Palace host Wolves in the Premier League on Tuesday 20th May 2025. Kick-off at Selhurst Park is 20:00 BST.
Crystal Palace v Wolves has not been selected for TV broadcasting in the UK.
