Concacaf announces schedule for the 2025 Gold Cup Prelims

Home-and-away series will be played across the region during the FIFA Match Window of March 2025
Seven series winners will qualify for this summer's Gold Cup
Prelims matchups were determined based on Concacaf Rankings after the FIFA Match Window of November 2024

Miami, FL (Thursday, February 13, 2025) - Concacaf has announced the match schedule for the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup Prelims matches taking place during the FIFA Match Window of March 2025.

The Gold Cup Prelims include 14 men’s national teams competing for the final seven berths in the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup Group Stage. These national teams advanced to the Prelims following the conclusion of the 2024/25 Concacaf Nations League play (further details on how each team qualified are available here).

To determine the Prelims matchups, Concacaf ranked the participating national teams 1-14 based on the Concacaf Rankings (as of November 20, 2024), with the highest-ranked national team facing the lowest-ranked national team (1 vs 14). The matchups are as follows:

(1) Costa Rica vs Belize (14)

(2) Jamaica vs Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (13)

(3) Honduras vs Bermuda (12)

(4) Guatemala vs Guyana (11)

(5) Trinidad and Tobago vs Cuba (10)

(6) Martinique vs Suriname (9)

(7) Nicaragua vs Guadeloupe (8)

After home-and-away play, the winner in each matchup will qualify for the Group Stage of the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup.

The 18th edition of the Concacaf Gold Cup will take place this summer, from June 14 to July 6, across 14 stadiums in 11 metropolitan areas of the United States and Canada. This tournament will feature 16 national teams. The nine teams that have already secured a spot are, in alphabetical order: Canada, Curaçao, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Haiti, Mexico, Panama, Saudi Arabia (guest team), and the United States.
