An update has been revealed on Jaden Philogene, with multiple Premier League offers believed to be on the table.

FC Barcelona may find it difficult to recruit Hull City winger Jaden Philogene because the player is keen on a Premier League move, according to an update on X from Fabrizio Romano.

The Tigers have two key stars who could attract plenty of bids in the coming weeks.

Jacob Greaves is one of them, with the central defender currently thought to be on Ipswich Town's radar.

It may only be a matter of time before the central defender leaves the MKM Stadium, although the Tigers are in a strong negotiating position with the player's contract not expiring until the summer of 2026.

Hull can even extend his deal by a further year, so they may not have to cash in on the defender unless they want to for financial fair play purposes.

With the deadline to make sales during the 2023/24 financial period recently ending though, the Championship club may not have a clear reason to offload him at this stage.

Philogene is another player who has attracted interest, with the winger shining since his permanent move from Aston Villa last summer.

With the player only making the move from Villa Park not that long ago, Hull are in a strong negotiating position with both Philogene and Greaves.

That could end up making things tricky for teams who are keen to get a deal over the line for him, although Villa do hold a £15m buy-back option which could work in Unai Emery's side's favour if they wish to lure the winger back to the Midlands.

Philogene is attracting interest from Barcelona, but transfer insider Romano believes the player is currently prioritising a move to the English top flight.

And the player is in luck, with three teams from that division thought to have tabled proposals to the player.

Crystal Palace, Everton and Ipswich are the three teams thought to have submitted offers, but whether they can agree a deal with Hull for the winger remains to be seen.

The Tigers' owner Acun Ilicali won't want to let his key players leave the MKM Stadium on cheap deals, so it may take some time for an agreement to be reached, if it can be.

A move to Crystal Palace may appeal to Jaden Philogene

There are plenty of players at Palace who previously thrived in the EFL.

Sam Johnstone is one of those, along with England international Marc Guehi, who has shone at Euro 2024.

In terms of those who have moved to Selhurst Park directly from EFL clubs, Eberechi Eze, Adam Wharton and Michael Olise have proved to be major successes and with the latter potentially set to leave the club, Philogene could have the opportunity to push for a starting spot under Oliver Glasner.

Glasner has done well during his time in the English capital thus far and would help to take Philogene's game to a new level if the winger makes this move.

However, the Eagles seem to face stiff competition for his signature.
