Republic of Ireland international defender Caitlin Hayes has joined Brighton & Hove Albion after four and a half seasons at Celtic.
She has 18 caps for her country and despite her defensive role scored a remarkable 30 goals in 75 games for Celtic, with whom she won back-to-back Scottish Cups and the club’s first SWPL league title.
Head coach Dario Vidosic, told brightonandhovealbion.com: “We’re delighted to welcome Caitlin to the club. She’s an experienced player who has competed at many levels in the game, including cup finals and the Champions League.
“She’s progressed well in her time in Scotland and we’re looking forward to seeing her compete in the WSL with Brighton.”
