Evan Ferguson will be available on loan for interested parties during the January transfer window.
That is according to a report in the Telegraph which states that the club and player are in agreement on his need for regular minutes.
The 20-year-old has started just once in the league this season under Fabian Hürzeler and scored once to end a lengthy wait for a top flight strike.
But he remains behind Danny Welbeck, João Pedro and Georginio Rutter in the pecking order and given his desire for playing time, is open to a temporary move away.
Although the situation may change before the winter window opens dependent on injuries, the Seagulls are eager for Ferguson to remain in the Premier League rather than move to a Championship side.
The Republic of Ireland international signed a six-year deal with Brighton last year and Leicester, Fulham, West Ham and Newcastle have all been mooted as potential destinations.
