The appointment of Anthony Taylor to referee a Champions League game always sets the head alarm off.
He's long produced high card counts in his UEFA club appointments and the stats show that - 28 of his last 45 such matches have seen at least five cards. This season, six of eight have produced 4+.
Of the four teams left in the competition, these two are the highest fouling sides, with PSG top. The French champions also lead the way in terms of fouls won and cards received (27 in 10 games).
Throw in what's at stake and I'm keen on some sort of replication and over 4.5 cards at 4/51.80 appeals.
As I've written previously, there's often value to be found in the player-card markets with the high-carding officials.
My pick from that market here is based largely on what I see as a key element of the contest.
Dortmund boss Edin Terzic says he is aiming to "establish a small advantage" in this first leg but to do that he'll need to be brave in an attacking sense.
Full-backs Ian Maatsen and Julian Ryerson played important roles in the quarter-final victory over Atletico Madrid and can push PSG back if they go for it and get forward.
However, the obvious danger is PSG's pacey attack hitting them on the counter, getting them on the turn and in behind.
Finding the balance may be tricky and with that in mind, plus the referee appointment, I like the 11/43.75 about Maatsen being carded.
Since joining on loan from Chelsea in January, he's picked up a card in seven of his 18 games for Dortmund and facing Ousmane Dembele won't be easy here.
