As reported by Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich have made contact amid a potential transfer for Liverpool winger Luis Diaz.

The Bavarian club are actively in the market for a new winger this summer, following the departure of Leroy Sané to Turkish giants Galatasaray.

Over the past couple of days, Bayern have gathered information regarding the Colombian international. The club concluded that Diaz could potentially leave the Premier League winners should a suitable offer arrive.

Bayern have made contact to first test the waters and see if there is an appetite to leave Liverpool.

As per TransferMarkt, Diaz has a current transfer market value of €70m. It’s likely that Bayern will try to get a slightly lower fee should they opt to go for Diaz.

However, there are other options that could be available to the Bavarians.

As reported by GGN previously, Bayern are currently monitoring the situations of English duo Marcus Rashford and Jack Grealish. However, Rashford is stated as being on Bayern’s longlist, and there has been more movement in terms of a potential transfer for Diaz rather than the other two candidates.
