This Thursday afternoon, Paul Pogba was officially unveiled as AS Monaco’s latest signing. The former Manchester United midfielder penned a two-year deal with the French side. Free after leaving Juventus, the Frenchman certainly had no shortage of options.

In the end, he chose the Principality club—and only after getting some key insights from Kylian Mbappé. "I spoke with Kylian (Mbappé), Ben (Mendy), and Kondogbia too. They told me the place is fantastic, life here is great. I had a good conversation with Thiago (Scuro), and I felt a really positive energy—that’s what convinced me to come and see the training center, and everything else… That’s exactly what I needed at this point in my career," revealed Paul Pogba.
