Arsenal’s Ethan Nwaneri courted by Borussia Dortmund | OneFootball

WAZ reports that Borussia Dortmund have been testing the waters with Arsenal over Ethan Nwaneri. The 18-year-old has been known to want assurances from Mikel Arteta regarding his playing time, with Arsenal having signed Noni Madueke from Chelsea for £50m. Nwaneri now appears to have received those assurances, as he looks set to sign a new contract at the Emirates.

Dortmund are in the market for a creative player, with Jamie Bynoe-Gittens having departed for Chelsea and Gio Reyna potentially also on his way through the exit door of the Westfalenstadion. BVB have enjoyed considerable success in recent seasons by bringing young players from the riches of the Premier League and offering them the kind of playing time they might not receive elsewhere.

They now turn their attention back to Carney Chukwuemeka, who – barring any lastminute hiccups – should be on his way back to the Ruhrgebiet, having impressed during the first six months of 2025 while on loan from Chelsea.
