Inter Milan teenager Thomas Berenbruch is a star in the making, but his long-term future at the San Siro hangs in the balance.

Speaking to Oggi Sport Notizie via FCInterNews, football agent Riccardo Bia refused to shed new light on the situation.

Only 19 years old, Thomas Berenbruch is among Italy’s hottest young prospects.

He joined Inter’s academy in 2020 and has become one of the most influential figures in the Primavera dressing room.

Furthermore, Berenbruch has been the architect of Inter’s decent campaign in the UEFA Youth League this season.

Berenbruch signed a senior contract at Inter last year, pledging his future to the San Siro until 2028.

However, the reigning Italian holders would ideally tie him down to a new long-term deal.

“It’s been a long road, but one filled with great satisfaction,” Bia said.

“Watching him make his debut for the first team, both in the Champions League and in the derby against Milan, was truly a special moment.

“Thomas remains focused on the final stretch of the season. He wants to do well with both the Primavera and the first team.

“The rest will come at the right time. Right now, Thomas remains solely focused on giving his all on the pitch.”

Berenbruch will be on the bench when Inter take on Bayern Munich later tonight.

Indeed, he boarded the plane to Germany amid an injury crisis.
