WSL 25/26 fixtures: Chelsea host Man City on the opening day | OneFootball

Reigning champions Chelsea will kick off the 2025/26 WSL season when they host Manchester City.

The league revealed its fixture list today with the opening weekend also including a Merseyside derby, as well as the European champions Arsenal hosting ambitious newly-promoted side London City Lionesses.

The season will conclude on the weekend of the 15th to the 17th May which will see Chelsea host Manchester United and Liverpool take on Arsenal.

WSL2 fixtures have also been released and the newly-revamped second tier will begin with Sheffield United taking on Sunderland on September 5th. Newly-promoted Ipswich Town will begin their campaign away to Southampton while the other promoted team Nottingham Forest will welcome Newcastle United.

Crystal Palace were relegated from the WSL last season and they began their campaign with a short trip to take on Charlton Athletic.

Next season will see all games across the top two tiers broadcast live either on Sky Sports, BBC, or on YouTube with the league promising increased production values.
