Vitor Pereira will be unable to call upon defender Toti Gomes, who is suspended after his red card at Bournemouth at the weekend. Santiago Bueno could be called into the side as his replacement.

Pereira may opt to make changes to his team, including opportunities for the likes of Sam Johnstone, Hwang Hee-chan and summer signing Fer Lopez.

Forward Saša Kalajdžić will hope for minutes after missing the entire 2024/25 campaign through injury. The Austrian has suffered from three ACL injuries in five years.

The club turned down a £50m bid from Newcastle United for Jorgen Strand Larsen on Monday and remain determined to hold onto the Norwegian forward.
