Tony Mowbray's return to West Brom has come to an early end after a string of poor results saw the Baggies fall out of play-off contention.
Back at The Hawthorns for a second spell after 16 years, Mowbray was brought in back in January with high hopes. But after five losses in their last six matches — including a 3-1 defeat at home to Derby on Easter Monday — the club have decided to call time on his short stint.
Ebou Adams, Jerry Yates, and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing all got on the scoresheet for Derby in that game, with Adam Armstrong grabbing the only goal for West Brom in what's turned into a rough patch of form.
Despite signing a deal set to keep him at the club for two and a half years, Mowbray lasted just three months before getting the chop.
James Morrison will take over on a temporary basis, with support from Damia Abella and Boaz Myhill while the club weighs up its next move.
