The AC Milan squad have just begun training this morning at Milanello on the eve of the game against Girona in the Champions League at San Siro.

It is another game that Milan must win, not only to bounce back after the defeat against Juventus on Saturday night but also to hopefully enter the top eight of the Champions League, which would secure direct qualification to the last 16.

As we have learned, Christian Pulisic is not training with the rest of the team as he evidently has not yet overcome the muscle fatigue that forced him off seven days ago in Como. Samuel Chukwueze and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are absent too.

On the other hand, Alvaro Morata and Noah Okafor are present. Sergio Conceiçao gathered the whole team in a huddle for a short speech before training begun as he continues to work on their mentality and hunger.
