Het Nieuwsblad are reporting that Union St Gilloise are interested in signing Club Brugge youngster Lynnt Audoor. The 21-year-old has a year left on his contract with the defending Belgian champions and is said to be open to a move to join the side from Brussels.

Audoor has spent most of the season with the sides second team, Club NXT, who currently play in the Challenger Pro League. In 20 second tier games this season he has scored seven goals and provided three assists from central midfield. Audoor spent last season out on loan at fellow Pro League side Kortrijk. However, he struggled to get regular game time, ending the campaign with just 11 appearances for the side.

Despite their recent success, one area Union have been looking to work on is their academy set up. The club have been looking to acquire land to set up an academy like other top clubs in Belgium, but the cost of this has so far made progress difficult. As a result, they have looked to sign players from other top academies that may not see a path to the first team. Last summer they did so by signing a handful of youngsters from Genk.
