Gjivai Zechiël is allowed to leave Feyenoord on loan this summer, and it’s safe to say that the midfielder has plenty of choice. According to De Telegraaf, FC Utrecht, FC Twente, and a number of foreign clubs are interested in the 21-year-old.

Sparta Rotterdam are also interested in taking Zechiël on loan for another year, but that no longer seems to be an option for the midfielder himself. Utrecht, Twente and clubs from abroad have made offers to Feyenoord.

The Rotterdammers only want to loan him out for a maximum of one year. Zechiël doesn’t have much chance of playing time in Rotterdam this season.

Sparta had Zechiël from the second half of last season. Now he seems to be choosing between Utrecht and Twente. The former club will play in Europe next season and seems to have an advantage. However, Zechiël is not certain of playing time at the Domstad, since Utrecht signed midfielders Dani de Wit (VfL Bochum) and Davy van den Berg (PEC Zwolle).

Zechiël played thirteen matches on loan for Sparta last season, scoring twice and assisting once.
