One top Chelsea reporter has just put out his expected lineup for Chelsea’s game against Heidenheim in the Europa Conference League tonight.

The Blues have made the trip to Germany for tonight’s tea time kick off game in Europe, and the travelling squad that head coach Enzo Maresca has taken is as follows…

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea stepping up pursuit of Premier League striker – not Evan Ferguson!

GK’s: Robert Sanchez, Filip Jorgensen, Bergstrom

DEF: Axel Disasi, Tosin, Badiashile, Levi Colwill, Renato Veiga

MID: Cesare Casadei, Carney Chukwuemeka, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Kiano Dyer, Rak Sakyi

FWD: Noni Madueke, Tyrique George, Joao Felix, Mudryk, Jadon Sancho, Marc Guiu, Mhueka, Christopher Nkunku

So there is not a very big squad for Maresca to pick from, with injuries still to Pedro Neto and Malo Gusto. So there will be a big decision to make at right back.

Despite Josh Acheampong returning to training yesterday and there being an expectation that he could be involved, he is not in the squad, oddly.

Sancho expected to start tonight

Top Chelsea reporter Bobby Vincent of Football London often gets some hints and nods of who might be starting the game, so that is why I always go to his expected Xl ahead of games to get a feel of who might be starting for Chelsea!

Vincent has put out this expected lineup for tonight:

Jorgensen, Disasi, Tosin, Badiashile, Veiga, Casadei, Dewsbury-Hall, Felix, Mudryk, Sancho, Nkunku.

I can certainly see this being the starting Xl tonight, with Sancho back in and Disasi filling in at right back once again as he often has this season so far.

Heidenheim will present a very tough opposition though, so I am not sure how this one will go with that starting Chelsea Xl. There is plenty of talent and threat there though, but I’d be concerned about conceding a goal or two for sure.
