Two Celtic stars have been named in Steve Clarke’s Scotland side for this evening’s game against Switzerland. After the humiliating opening day defeat to Germany in Munich, attention has switched to Cologne where the Scots need to take something.

Former Killie and West Brom boss has decided to make two changes from the side that lost to the hosts on Friday with Ryan Christie and Ryan Porteous dropping out to be replaced by Billy Gilmour and Grant Hanley.

In goals, Angus Gunn continues.

The backline remains unchanged apart from Hanley, who replaces the suspended Porteous, with Tierney and Hendry either side supported by Tony Ralston and Andy Robertson in the wingback roles.

In midfield, the Celtic captain starts alongside Gilmour with John McGinn and Scott McTominay further forward.

In attack, Che Adams starts through the middle.

On the bench: Kelly, Clark, Shankland, Christie, Cooper, Armstrong, Morgan, Conway, Jack, Ross McCrorie, McLean, Taylor, Forrest, McKenna.

Scotland need to take something from the match to stand any chance of moving into the knockout rounds with four points being required to take a side in the third placed positions.
