The champions will raise the title flag and kick-off their defence of the SPFL Premiership title with a home game against Kilmarnock on Sunday, August 4 (KO: 16.30).
Brendan Rodgers’ side, of course, sealed the title against the Ayrshire team with a scintillating 5-0 win at Rugby Park back in May.
Celtic met the fourth-placed side last term four times during the league campaign with two wins, a draw and a reverse – the run starting with a 3-1 victory at Celtic Park and ending, of course, with that title-clinching game following the split.
The Kilmarnock match is followed by another Sunday game in a trip to Easter Road to take on Hibernian on August 11 at 12.30, while a journey to Paisley to play St Mirren on Saturday, August 24 is next on the agenda before Celtic’s second home game of the term – the first derby of the season which is scheduled for Saturday, August 31.
