Rangers face struggling Hearts today in what is the perfect fixture for Philippe Clement’s side to come back from Europe to, even if Neil Critchley’s side has found a couple of wins this season at last.

But what side is Clement likely to opt for following a midweek success with a credible draw in Greece?

Ibrox Noise presents the side we think will take to the Govan field today:

In goal, who else. Butland might have been poor for a long time but this manager remains stubborn to him.

Defence is certainly seeing some evolution. James Tavernier no longer first pick at RB, with Dujon Sterling potentially eking his way into that role, backed up by the impressive Neraysho Kasanwirjo.

On the other side fit-again Ridvan Yilmaz may just get the nod to start at last, with Jefte probably needing a rest by this point.

Centrally John Souttar should start again, but the likely partner for him is Leon Balogun rather than the uninspiring Robin Propper.

In midfield we can’t see any change in Clement’s settled Barron and Raskin duo, while in front of them Diomande will probably get the nod again, with no Tom Lawrence and the manager refusing to use Bajrami as a 10. Hagi? Manager really isn’t interested in him.

Wings will again be Cerny and the Albanian, unless the manager wants to rest someone and give McCausland a start.

Up front likely to be Dessers even though he missed a lot of big chances midweek.

So your Ibrox Noise predicted XI:

Butland; Sterling, Souttar, Balogun, Ridvan; Barron, Raskin; Diomande; Cerny, Bajrami; Dessers

The midfield is starting to look a little settled but defence is now very volatile and the attacking quadrant isn’t satisfying.

Clement will be hoping Hearts don’t find some real form this afternoon.
